K-PAX classic Hollywood drama of the late 90s. Almost all K-PAX chronometers are dialogues and philosophical thoughts of the main characters. There's no action, no CGI and no Hollywood approach to describing UFOs.
K-PAX communicates with the viewer on a completely different level. And so the сadoption of K-PAX by the viewer depends on what you want to see. There is in fact nothing related to the alien life form.
K-PAX is a film about the essence of man, what drives him and how he lives. The whole film is built into a human circle, K-PAX passes off an alien as a human as much as possible. And it's certainly one of Kevin Spacey's best career roles.
Very few actors are able to play their role so perfectly. K-PAX can cause disappointment, because most will expect completely different from the film.
