Review of K-PAX (2001) by Yuliya G — 14 Dec 2009
My rating is affected by antoher movie of same style I saw in series in short time - The man from earth. I prefer minimalistic execution against sugary, "american" happy running and ending. Theme is also interesting (similiar), acting of Spacey and Bridges is wonderful, movie beginning is as superb as The man from earth, but the second half of movie was aiming more on emotion and moralizing about family importance or guilty and punishment.
These factors degraded K-PAX on a very good movie with excellent acting only not a superb movie we would remember...
