Review of K-PAX (2001) by Greg T — 06 Dec 2014
A mostly derided / ignored movie, this unusual sci-fi mystery psychological drama is actually a rather unusual beast, and a very entertaining one. Spacey plays Prot, a man who appears in Grand Central Station claiming to be from another planet, and Bridges the psychiatrist delving into his mind to get to the truth.
The relationship between the two develops convincingly, it's never obvious where it's going, and ultimately it leaves you to make of it what you will. Beautifully shot by Iain Softley, it's worth spending some time with.
