I loved this movie. If it wasn't for the fact that the ending left opened whether Prot was indeed from another planet or not I would have given 5 stars. We've seen enough "alien" movies, if the whole drama of Prot was nothing but a deep trauma he had in the past, I think it could have been much better.
Maybe not commercially successful but intellectually better. We need movies like this and "A Beautiful Mind" where the "answer" is in human mind not in outer spaces or in poltergeists or in seemingly complex but basically stupid conspiracies.
