Review of K-19: The Widowmaker (2002) by Paavo L — 10 Jan 2008
A brilliant movie. It was great to see a Soviet war time film. Gosh, the things that happened on there, and the crude and ineffective way they tried to contain the radiation leakage. I felt sorry for those guys who suffered and died on there.
It was also nice to see that there was a believer on there, but he would have been an outcast if his secret got out that he was a Christian, and they were all from communist Soviet Russia. But another sailor sympathizes with him.
Great movie.
