Good acting, sets, and direction. The story is just so stupid, it's hard to believe it really happened. "There is no doubt in my mind that K-19 will be ready!" Really? Did you see it? You know not all the parts are there, right? And when they are saved they moon the helicopter.
"Assistance? I show my butt to assistance!" Two years after the superior U-571, it's not surprising this flopped.
