Review of Justice League: War (2014) by Chris F — 05 Feb 2014

If I could give this more than 5 stars I would. This was DC Universe's best movie yet. Darkseid was so well done. Very ominous and powerful as hell. The new 52 style and the different personalities of the heroes translates wonderfully from page to screen.

Wonder Woman especially is a standout. Superman is not a boys out anymore. Shazam and Cyborg are really cool too. There are some changes from the original comic arc this is based on, but it doesn't hurt at all.

The biggest change is no Aquaman. I was very angry about it, but the easter egg during the ending credits made me very happy ;). Since DC Universe are for the most part going to all be in the same continuity, I am very excited to see where they go next.
