Review of Justice League: War (2014) by Lasse C — 08 Mar 2014
I did not hate it, but if was practically pointless as far as I am concerned. Once again we get another retelling of how the Justice League comes together and it is its most forgettable origin story yet. Everything just feels by the numbers and rushed, though the latter has more to do once again with DC refusing to give their one shot movies more than 85 minutes to tell their stories.
And once again, the teenage-fication of superheroes is alive and well here. All the quirks that each character is known for have been amped up to 11 and its makes practically all of them uninteresting and kind of annoying.
Do yourselves a favor and just watch the opening episodes of the Justice League show.
