Review of Justice League: War (2014) by Anil R — 08 Feb 2014
Based on the recent revamp of the Justice League, New 52. Justice League War is the newest addition to the DCAU, and is also perhaps one of the best action animated features they've done to date. This is the first occasion in which the initial members of the League first join in battle against an eminent threat, much like they originally did against the Alien Conqueror Starro in JLA.
Each member of the team is given a more modern and refreshing intro that is accompanied by humorous quips and unfamiliar character traits which makes this Justice League all more interesting to watch.
Unlike Marvel's Avengers, DC's Justice League is not a forged assembly of heroes, but rather a mutual union of unlikely partners against a threat to the world. They are bound in a common goal, and eventually become the world's greatest defense against enemies like Darkseid.
I cannot wait for Warner Bros and DC to launch more of the New 52 in animated features!
