Review of Justice League: War (2014) by Mark V — 19 Feb 2014

Very impressed with the story! Recently saw some old episodes of the 1970's - 1980's Superfriends. Justice League and Justice League Unlimited surpassed them in not only amimation quality but also storyline and character developement.

This and the other Flaspoint movie take the genre of Superhero animation to more adult levels that older fans can still enjoy. Would not watch this with toddlers or any children under 12. Probably start them on Hanna Barbara version and gradually transition to the WB Batman/Superman shows of the 90's sneaking up to JL and JLU from Cartoon Network.

If they are still fans when they're older then this would foster appreciation for the latest incarnation of the Justice League. Not to deter at all from thetop notch excellence done by the current staff at WB animation.
