Review of Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths (2010) by Sean G — 14 Feb 2010
Very satisfying film on many levels. The story is based on Grant Morrison and Frank Quietly's 2000 graphic novel JLA: Earth 2, and the film is littered with Morrison-ism.
James Woods' Owlman is a standout in a group of very cool other world versions of our heroes. Gina Torres' Superwoman is also great in her exhuberant psychopathy.
The animation is top notch with new designs for our heroes. Nothing too far from what we know but closer to the DC comics U. Martian Manhunter is in his new black, red, blue outfit...
Easily the best DC animated film since New Frontier.
