Review of Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths (2010) by Steven C — 11 May 2012
The Justice League, a team of the world's premiere superheroes, are surprised to discover the presence of a heroic Lex Luthor (Chris Noth) from a parallel reality. This Luthor wants the League's help in overthrowing the Crime Syndicate, a twisted and evil version of the Justice League from his home universe.
The League suspects that the Syndicate may be out of their proper jurisdiction, but they're forced to intervene when their mirror-selves threaten the very fabric of the multiverse. The main thrust of the plot is a familiar trope to any comics fan, but it gets a strong treatment thanks to Dwayne McDuffie's witty script and professional direction by Lauren Montgomery & Sam Liu.
The crisp animation is bolstered by a great voice cast that includes William Baldwin, Mark Harmon, Gina Torres, Jonathan Adams, and James Woods.
