Review of Just Friends (2012) by Metal J — 29 Oct 2010
Well although this movie gets lost in the slew of romantic comedy types, this movie is a lot better than it looks and better than it sounds.
Well you kinda figure out the plot in three seconds, you don't really care how predictable 'Just Friends' is just because of how funny it is.
Well if couldn't tell, Ryan Reynolds character falls in love with his best friend, played by Amy Smart, while in high school. Pretty basic right?
But like I said, You still watch to the end because of the rest of the cast, like a 'Ashlee Simpson' carbon copy played by Anna Faris, a little brother who's eager to slap Reynolds in the face countless times, A dim-wit mother, and even a geek-gone-smooth rival guy.
And although this is set at christmas time, don't expect a christmas movie.
'Just Frinds' is just good fun.
