Review of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom (2018) by Ricky B — 22 Jun 2018

I really wanted to like this movie. I thought Jurassic World was enjoyable for what it was, but I spent a lot of time just waiting for something different. Something different never came. It felt like the same movie from before.

Let's face it, we are all sick of the "Blue Storyline". Wow, Chris Pratt can talk to a raptor. The raptor is going to save him--again. Here is an idea for the next installment. Let's have Chris Pratt be saved by Blue.

The audience will not mind. We do! I do understand that the director is just sitting up for the sequel, but I do not want to go to a movie that is just a two hour rising action for the next installment.

The franchise needs a few years to think of an idea that is going to "wow" audiences into coming back for me.
