Review of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom (2018) by Doug B — 24 Jun 2018

First off I suggest going into this with the mindset of what it is. A Jurassic park sequel (we know how well those have been) that being said...this is a fun movie. It takes alot of what we've seen and come to expect from a Jurassic movie and then sprinkles in enough of its own into the movie.

It gives you a new angle of the franchise as well as setting up a future movie without feeling let down like alot of set ups. In fact you dont even realise its a set up for the most part till the 3rd act.

I can guarentee most people down on thia movie went in expecting to much. If you go into thia movie expecting a Jurassic movie with some action, humor, feels( one particular scene I think aome dust flew in my eye ;( ) as well as commentary on our world in the sense of throwing away our morals to chase the all mighty dollar; you'll walk away from this film happy.

This movie can work as a stand alone without seeing any other Jurassic movie as well as a good sequel with call backs to the last as well ad originals. All in all go in with the right mindset and just enjoy the ride.
