It's almost like Michael Bay just decided, "enough with the damned robots, can we throw some dinosaurs and volcanoes exploding in there?". From the ridiculous dino-activism (saving species that are unsuited for cohabitation on Earth with humans) to the "they say the volcano is going to erupt tomorrow, but we're still going!" plotline, you could just play the first Jurassic World and Transformers 2 at the same time and get the same effect.
