You can go see "Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom" or you can save yourself the time and money by chugging a six-pack of Red Bull and running through the dinosaur exhibits at the Museum of Natural History until you can't breathe.

As experiences go, they're equally adrenalizing and equally fleeting. Directed by J.A. Bayona, "Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom" has all the requisite rampaging dinos, dizzying action scenes and, sure, a few flesh-and-blood heroes running around saving the day.

But this franchise's desperation is starting to show. It's time to evolve or go extinct. Rent it!
