Review of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom (2018) by Hannah W — 14 Dec 2018

*sigh.... a long hard sigh*.

*shakes head*.

*pours a shot of whiskey*.

Everyone, this movie may go down as one of the biggest disappointments of not just 2018 but of recent years, as Fallen Kingdom is essentially just a $170 million dollar polished turd, with no real purpose other than trying to set up a third and final Jurassic World movie in another 3 years.

And hey, I say that reluctantly, as I have a solid man crush on Chris Pratt. Unfortunately his charisma is completely taken away in this and a poorly written story and script that make no logical fucking sense drive this movie into the ground.

I don't want to get into spoiler territory with you because some of you may actually be intrigued to go see it. AND HEY ! I APPLAUDE YOU because sometimes the great visual effects and great sound design make this worth its money.

I'm starting to hope that 10 years from now, Jurassic Park gets relaunched as like a hard R , super violent kind of movie where you can see someone get ripped apart by a Raptor. BUT until then, we are stuck with these pieces of shit.
