Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom- 3 out of 5 - Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom is a American science fiction adventure film and the sequel to Jurassic World. Directed by J. A. Bayona, it is the fifth installment of the Jurassic Park film series, as well as the second installment of a planned Jurassic World trilogy.

Set on the fictional Central American island of Isla Nublar, off the Pacific coast of Costa Rica, it follows Owen Grady and Claire Dearing as they rescue the remaining dinosaurs on the island before a volcanic eruption destroys it. Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, B. D. Wong, and Jeff Goldblum reprise their roles from previous films in the series, with Rafe Spall, Justice Smith, Daniella Pineda, James Cromwell, Toby Jones, Ted Levine, Isabella Sermon, and Geraldine Chaplin.

This film had me all excited for a new twist to the story and while there were some emotional parts and entertaining ones as well it kind of fell flat on its face. The plot it seems is following the Lost world story line with slight differences but similar concept of bringing Dinosaurs to the main land. The movie missed big time on the creativity part but if you just turn off your thinking it is a Jurassic Park film and look at it as a Monster flick it will make it a little more enjoyable, but I was left disappointed after my first viewing so go in to seeing it with no expectations you may be better off.

This is a rent for me. While I would say the effects would payoff better in the theater I just don't know if it worth the Price of admission. I guess if you could see it for $5 or under than go see it in theaters but do not pay full price for this movie.
