Review of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom (2018) by Gannon M — 24 Jul 2018
Arguably the worst Jurassic Park movie to date. There is no character growth whatsoever. The first half of the movie is extremely fast, to the point were I can't even relish on the very few good scenes the first half of the movie had to offer.
One thing that many people were excited about was the Indoraptor, for good reason. If your'e one of those people, don't expect much. The indoraptor was supposed to be a extremely smart animal, but Blue seemed to easily outsmart the dinosaur.
The only reason this movie gets two stars from, rather than one, is because of the potential it leaves fro future films and the idea that must of built the schematics for this film, that was quickly thrown away once production/writing began.
While It may not seem that I dislike the Jurassic Park franchise, I don't. It saddens me to see this movie flop. I can only hope that the franchise can use the potential this movie left to make a future fantastic film.
