They just keep getting stupider. There was not a moment in here that didn't feel stupid or contrived. In a two-hour film it's astounding that not one decision made sense. From the very opening when people breaking into Isla Nublar seem surprisingly unanxious and complacent to the inevitable yet pointless betrayal to the bad guy stepping into a dinosaur cage for shizzles to the young girl who, after revealing evident survival instincts, suddenly decides to run to her room and hide in bed while pursued by a giant dinosaur, nobody acts like a plausible human being.

Nobody has any real fear and characters are merely gears in the machine moving the plot forward. It's a sad decline from what was one of the more intelligent scifi films out there.
