As a fan of the series since I was given the first movie on VHS, I can say that it was amazingly awesome. There were throwbacks to the other movies, nods to the games, and sections pulled right from the books.
It was intense and dark, it was nail-biting, it wasn't pandering, it was perfect for me and if I had the money I would see it over and over again. When its released to amazon prime I'm buying it.
