Review of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom (2018) by Devo-Nc — 21 Jun 2018
The best since the original and a mile above the over-nostalgic, lifeless monster armageddon that was the 4th movie. They've been missing the Spielberg flair since the 2nd one, but here is something original, different, fresh, and unique that sets itself apart from the franchise, and lifts it up.
A risen franchise.. The human character's and dinosaur presence is as good as it's ever been, this was something that was missing and hindered previous instalments. Much care put in the many moments that make you feel the wonder, suspense and horror.
It doesn't go big, which is why I like it. The first hour is rly good, the next half gets slightly predictable but the director keeps you on your toes no matter what. Highly recommend and the most invigorating thing to see at the cinemas so far in the summer of 2018.
