Jurassic Park is undoubtedly a classic spectacle of groundbreaking effects. The constant level of threat keeps the audience interested, although that is the only thing that keeps the film plodding along.
There is no plot, by which I mean a consistent narrative. However, famous scene after iconic moment will ensure you don't lose faith.
