Occasionally good ideas are often tossed aside and replaced with bad and very bizarre ones. There's a complete lack of chemistry between the entirety of the cast, the writing and plotting are devoid of finesse, the special effects, though impressive, are wasted on redundant and uninspired action sequences.
The only thing entertaining about Jupiter Ascending is just how bad it is, namely that a lot of Eddie Redmayne's villainous acting and some of the odd visuals and costume design are just so freaking laughably ridiculous.
