A Science Fiction Action Fantasy that takes place in fictional universe where worlds collide in a place where Earth is just a piece of real estate in a much bigger picture. When you consider the Greeks and the Romans had Gods like Zeus (Jupiter) & Poseidon (Neptune) who were watching mankind, Jupiter Ascending approaches from an alien species that seeds and governs the Universe.
Mila Kunis is Jupiter Jones, a young girl whose father was an astronomer that died when she was young. She has looked at the stars all her life. One day she finds herself in the midst of a better in the middle of a Doctor's appointment meeting Caine played by Channing Tatum, a genetically engineered soldier, who rescues her from being abducted.
Caine reveals to Jupiter about her linage and what is happening. Jupiter is confused & doesn't believe it until her world becomes larger as she meets Balem Abrasax (Eddie Redmayne) who makes her an offer.
Jupiter realizes her genetic signature leads to an inheritance that can change the universe forever.
