Review of Juno and the Paycock (1930) by Joel H — 17 May 2017
Not a major effort by the standards of Hitchcock, this was originally released in the late '20s and has the distinction of being one of the famed director's earliest 'talkies'. There is a very stagey look to this film and it certainly doesn't demonstrate any of the genius to be seen just a few years later in films like The 39 Steps and The Lady Vanishes.
