Review of Jungle Fever (1994) by Trent J — 26 Jun 2009
Why is it so difficult to make a decent film about racism? I mean, any film is difficult to make, but racism seems to be a bigger stumbling block than most. Jungle Fever is no exception: at times preachy, at times too dependent on stereotypes and straw men, and by the end, the focus is lost.
A few good sequences here shine, but they are far and few.
