Review of Junebug (2005) by Erika J — 11 Jan 2008
I actually didn't think this film was very well done, until I read the director's notes. I love his use of "empty scenes" that let your mind wander just the right amount. The whole point of the film is to do just that, to dwell on the characters and really feel the mood of the environment they're in.
..it's really a study of human nature and communication.
