Review of Junebug (2005) by Annabelle F — 02 Mar 2008
A good movie about love, family and everyhting in between. Benjamin McKenzie is impressive in a role quite different from the guy on the OC. Even though it is one of the standard indie genres (dysfunctional family films) it is a little bit different and new.
The great story and dialogue is not exactly complemented by the directors style, however and some angles and cuts are awkward. Also, characters are-not one dimensional- but somewhat less than three dimensional.
