Review of Junebug (2005) by Brandon T — 17 May 2008
This film was way too slow for its own good. A couple of fine performances are wasted in a plodding, mostly pointless story. Amy Adams especially brings a wonderful performance as an extremely pregnant country sweetheart.
Unfortunately, I could not recommend this film for any but the most patient of film viewers. The end of the film is heartbreaking, but if you can watch it to the end and can care enough at that point then you are a more patient person than I.
