Review of Junebug (2005) by Katy T — 21 Nov 2008
I just saw Rachel Getting Married a little while ago, and in many ways, it reminded me of this film, particularly in the way in which it portrays family, and how a family can be extraordinarily complicated and maddeningly simple at the same time.
Although they're both extremely different films, both of them see their respective families with nothing but honesty, and that's what makes them work.
