Dysfunctional american family? yeah, bring it on, definitely my cup of tea. amy adams is outstanding in her role, really funny and annoying and sweet. I love the shots of metaphoric empty rooms and the feeling of estrangement madelaine gets at the end when she realises she doesn't really know her husband.
of maybe it is that the person she's married to is not anymore the person his own family knew. it doesn't really matter, anyway.
