Review of Jumping the Broom (2011) by Keya A — 10 May 2011

Ugh. I honestly thought this looked like a solid bet, so being a gambling man I spent the $7.50 to see it and, well, like a bad night at the casino, I lost every penny. There were so many whimsical elements to the plot that I found myself losing interest all around, plus, how many marriage/relationship cliches can one film withstand? I will say this though, the all-star cast did not disappoint, they all did a terrific job, nonetheless, a cast is only as good as its script and this one left much to be desired.
