Review of Jumper (2008) by Nate G — 12 Apr 2012
Jumper starts off similar to your cliche super-hero movie. It goes from origin story, to examples of how to use the cool powers to conflict. The power to jump is pretty cool, but the origin story was lame and the conflict basically, nonsensical.
The action was pretty solid throughout, but the story just could never keep up. That coupled w/ questionable acting performances made Jumper less than impressive. Still, if you're looking for a mindless action hero flick this one could have done worse.
Just don't expect anything you haven't seen a few times before.
