Review of Jumper (2008) by Matt L — 17 Aug 2011
This movie has loads of potential for sequels if the creative teams had grabbed on to development ideas. How about you make a number of different powered-people? How about you show development of powers a little more? These powered kids seem to have only a few tricks in terms of protecting themselves. And why are they only kids? Where are all the jumper adults?
Anyway, neat idea, but definitely not captured completely. Christensen is okay, but not great. Jackson is one-dimensional here and I hate the white hair. Bilson is pretty but this really isn't an actor's role. Fluff film. Good action. That's it.
