Review of Jumper (2008) by Garret B — 04 Feb 2012
I never would've guessed that Doug Liman directed this overplotted, underwritten, incoherent mess. "Jumper" is absurd and unrelenting in its boredom. Hayden Christensen is awkward and detached as the lead and Jamie Bell (doing a bad Malcolm McDowell accent) has one of the worst supporting performances I've ever seen.
It's entertaining at first, but definitely doesn't stay that way.
