Review of Jumper (2008) by Dave M — 11 Feb 2013
The film takes about two minutes to establish its plot and the rest of the movie feels like one long scene where some action happens but nothing develops in the story. Then there's absolutely no resolution to anything, I mean none whatsoever.
It was baffling. The action was cool and I always liked the concept of teleportation whether it's this or The Fly, but they're banking far too much on this becoming some kind of franchise where the sequel will pick up where this ended.
I just don't think the story goes deep enough to make anyone want to keep watching. However, if you feel like setting your brain to down syndrome, then you might find yourself entertained for an extremely fast hour and a half.
