Review of Jumper (2008) by Patrick C — 24 Nov 2014
The only thing about this movie that gits my attention is the fact the story revolves around a super kid, who finds he's in fact a 'Jumper' - a super human being who has the powers to teleport just about anywhere he favours, and he knows no boundaries!
Hayden Christensen, followed by the other additional cast members, are portraying the characters as dull people, who appear to have developed permanent boredom through some invisible bad experience that's not mentioned or explained, and it just shuts are brains, completely down. Honestly, the performances are terrible and could be cut, if necessary, and all I needed to overcome my boredom was a decent and relevant screenplay, fair direction and proper acting that's actually acting and not lazy strange actors, who are contracted to a movie they don't even care much for, even though they're getting paid little by little amounts.
