Review of Jumanji (1995) by Hellholehorror — 16 Feb 2022
Zathura: A Space Adventure (2005) is a slightly better version of this because the pace is a lot more frenetic and they have cut out some of the frustrating junk that was in Jumanji. Having said that I thought that this was entertaining after the pointlessly slow start.
It could have done with a few trims in the middle and a bit less off the end too. Enjoyable through nostalgia and fun adventure that would be improved through a child's eyes. After a wooden start this improves to be an entertaining fantasy that is a bit too long.
