It is always a pleasure to view a new Almodovar piece and his latest is certainly a fine example of his high standard of artistic creativity. Julieta, emodies a refreshing narrative approach that allows intrigue and character study to slowly unfold before you.
Although it may lack the resplendent flare of Volver and the tension of The Skin I Live In, it does, however, unfold in a captivating and alluring manner that only a masterful director could possibly do.
