A quite lovely film that charts Julia Childs attempts to get her first book published in the 50's & the intertwined tale set in 2002 when blogger Julie Powell attempts to recreate all of these 534 recipes in just one year.
This is a funny, sweet (but never too saccharine) movie anchored by a remarkable performance from Meryl Streep & one equally assured by the continually brilliant Amy Adams. Enjoyable from beginning to end and never fails to engage or amuse in its perfect running time.
