What a sublimely perfect little film! Of course, with Meryl and Amy, how could one possibly go wrong? The whole endeavor, especially the splicing of the two stories, was winning, charming, witty, and utterly human.
Not a French biopic, but certainly just as good. ;-) And perfect for an evening with homemade sticky toffee pudding with Disaronno on the rocks.
