Review of Julie & Julia (2009) by Lindsey J — 04 Dec 2010

I went into this film with high expectations and thankfully they were met. Although the story is about the two female leads, I found their male partners much more endearing. Julie's relationship with her mother over the telephone was an absolute hoot! I'm no foodie, but I liked the way the cooking was made accessible, and the two storylines were knitted together nicely, showing some similarities between the two women along the way.
