Review of Jules and Jim (1962) by Jesse W — 29 Dec 2007
It's not bad, and thankfully as it goes along it gets better. It's a very interesting look at the life of two friends and how one woman brings much conflict in their lives. The dialog displays an excellent example of how people treat love, and how frustrating a woman can be (biased).
The beginning was a bit rushed and could have used some touching up on the editing, but the emotional core is what keeps the interest. I don't know if it is the best introduction into older French films but if you really love film It's worth watching.
