Review of Jules and Jim (1962) by Michael W — 04 Sep 2015
It's as if Truffant took a Renoir film, and New Waved the crap out of it. What's left has all the charm of its predecessors, and all the edge and pop of its contemporaries. It stretches film into new horizons, while staying full of heart and remaining wildly entertaining.
It's very good.
