Review of Jules and Jim (1962) by Keegan M — 22 Nov 2012
I loved most of this movie but I really hated Catherine for at least the last 30 or so minutes. It was pretty heart-wrenching to see the way that she conferred with Jules about her relationship with Jim.
That, for me was hard to swallow. All of the promotional material for this film that I had seen indicated that it would be more light-hearted, which is true at points, but it definitely isn't something that I would be able to watch in all moods.
I didn't find it to be as good as the 400 Blows, but overall, a superior film with phenomenal music, acting and camerawork.
