Review of Juice (1992) by Alan C — 19 Apr 2008
I still consider this an 80's movie because 1987-1992 marked the death of the golden age of Hip-Hop...This movie was it's punctuation mark. This showed us the promise of a young Omar Epps in his first leading role, and established the legendary Tupac as a bonafide actor.
The movie was a classic, is a classic, will always be a classic. 26 years later, you can still shout "RIVERSIDE, MOTHERFUCKER!" and still get acknowledgment. Great performances, and great plot lead to the greatness that is Juice.
