Review of Juggernaut (1974) by Brett W — 09 Nov 2007
One of the best disater movies of the 1970s this deserves more kudos than it gets.
Richard Lester directs a fine british cast and fills the film with his usual Lester touches which add to the films quality.
The film is also a clever critique of the State of Britain around the time the film was made.
The ship much like the country itself has seen better days and even the ships entertainer feels he is fighting a losing battle.
A long neglected film which deserves to be seen again.
