Review of Ju-on: The Grudge (2002) by Matthew B — 18 Mar 2014

It was a pretty good movie from what I could understand, but I found it really, really, really confusing. I think I got the gist of it but I still can't wrap my mind around it. Maybe I just wasn't paying attention, but there seemed to be tons of different story lines going on with different ghost/monster things with weird flash forwards and flashbacks that made no earthly sense, and then there was the kid that was alive in some scenes and dead in others who randomly turned into a cat? and the murdered mother that was sometimes a shadow and sometimes not? and then the thing with the teenage girls who all came after another girl who saw her dead dad in alive-form randomly? would someone mind explaining to me what happened in this movie apart from the whole "house curses whoever steps into it" thing?
